Current Flows: reading – installation

I’ve finally managed to find the time to finish editing, exporting and uploading this video documenting the event that took place on Wednesday 8th September 2021 at the magnificent Colyer-Fergusson hall, University of Kent. After installing “zones of flow (iii)” and doing a dress rehearsal, we were ready to present it to the public that attended the conference and the general public.

The video features author Katherine May while reading from the book memoir of late-diagnosis “The Electricity of Every Living Thing” amidst the light installation “zones of flow (iii)” by Rocio von Jungenfeld.

The event was part of the “Beyond Stereotypes” conference organised as part of the AHRC-funded Playing A/Part project, a collaboration between the University of Kent, University of Surrey and Limpsfield Grange school.

The public event was supported by the Institute of Cultural and Creative Industries from the University of Kent.
