As the resources were being made, these were tested with a group of young neurodivergent people. We worked with two groups of young people. The first was a group of autistic girls from Limpsfield Grange. This is a partner school for the project. The young people took part in the activities as a group as part of their after-school curriculum and supported by teaching staff. After every session, the students would fill out a short feedback form about what they felt worked well and what didn’t. This was then used to inform the next version of the script, and also any further scripts that had not yet been completed. The other group was from a network of neurodivergent home educated young people of all genders found through support from the charity Education Otherwise, who provided feedback in a similar manner but this was completed individually by those who are home educated.
The team want to extend their thanks to all of those young people who provided feedback on the work. It was incredibly useful and helped to inform the work.
