About

I am a Lecturer in the Psychology of Education at the University of Bristol. My PhD research focussed on the social relationships of girls and women on the autism spectrum, arising from my time working in schools and seeing the wider impacts of friendships on how girls engaged with the world around them. I also have a significant interest in the links between autism and eating disorders, as well as mental health more generally. Throughout my career I have prioritised participatory research and public engagement, aiming to communicate research findings in an accessible way to the people who are most affected by these conditions.
